Restaurateur is a dedicated WordPress restaurant theme. The theme features custom post types for menu items so you can easily add a beautiful tabbed menu with your own categories and dishes (with prices), which will be featured in the home page slider. You can also customize the background imagery and welcome message on the home page, contact details, map location and social media icons. It’s a flexible and responsive theme which will look great on any device.
UPDATE 25/03/12 – We’ve gone back to the drawing board on this theme to try and make the menu builder work out of the box but in a way that is acceptable for the WordPress.org theme directory. Will post updates here as we make progress.

Thanks. We’ve struck some issues with WordPress not accepting themes with custom post types (which we were using for menu items) so we’re back at the drawing board. If you are interested in testing the theme for a specific project I’d be happy to share a copy.

Hi Everyone, we’ve struck a couple of hurdles with this theme as WordPress won’t accept the functionality the way we coded it, so we’re back at the drawing board. Will update here with a link as soon as we have something we can share.
